Welcome to the latest issue of Foodhism Monthly. Foodhism focuses on food culture, food travel, food news, recipes, and all other delicious food related articles.

As we welcome the vibrant blooms and fresh flavours of spring, I’m thrilled to bring you another delightful issue packed with culinary inspiration. This season, we celebrate the beauty of renewal—not just in nature, but on our plates as well.

Spring is a time of exploration, where vibrant vegetables and fragrant herbs awaken from their winter slumber. We have curated a collection of recipes that highlight the best of what this season has to offer. From vibrant pasta bursting with colour to comforting dishes that embrace the warmth of those cool spring nights, we hope to inspire your culinary adventures.

In this issue, we also dive into the stories related to May. With May being National burger month we look at the history of the hamburger. The hoagie is also celebrated in May, so our sandwhich artist, Benny Kim, shares his recipe for the perfect hoagie. We also look at what’s trending now, how real men actually make and eat quiche, discover the overwhelming positive health benefits of chia seeds, and have a whole bunch of fantastic recipes from our amazing contributors!

As you flip through these pages, I encourage you to embrace the spirit of spring—experiment, savour, and let the flavours of this season inspire you.

Thank you for being a part of our Foodhism journey. Here’s to a season filled with delicious discoveries!
